Our JROTcadets were asked to participate in the traditional flag posting at each grave sit on F.E. Warren Air Force Base.
Visiting the VA involves the Cadets of the Indian Battalion in an educational project that benefits the community. It teaches the Battalion to give back to those who served their country and fought for the pride and freedom we have.
Indian Battalion was the Color Guard for Award Ceremony for 115th Fires Brigade Meritorious Unit Citation (MUC) they received from their deployment. This was a huge event with the Governor and his wife, the Adjutant General of Wyoming, the Army and National Guard Generals of Wyoming, and many other VIP's.
We had The FE Warren Wing Command Chief, Army National Guard Command Sergeant Major, Navy Command Master Chief do an In-Ranks inspection on the Indian Battalion Army JROTC. Then the Senior NCOs Awarded the TOP Cadets who were OUTSTANDING in appearance and answered all questions that were asked about military knowledge and regulations correctly. (Only 5%) Received Gold Cords, which are a permanent award that they have for their duration in the program.
