Principal Messages

Dear Central High School Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I love journals. There's something special about opening a brand-new one, knowing the first page is waiting for me to write the very first sentence. August feels the same way. Like a blank page, it offers a fresh start filled with possibility and the opportunity to write a new story. As we begin another school year, I invite you to partner with us in making this.our best year yet.

Together, we will write a story of growth, learning, achievement, and belonging.

Central High School is a truly special place, and I am honored to continue serving as your principal. Every year, we celebrate the rich traditions of Cheyenne Central High School while embracing new opportunities, blazing new trails, and creating experiences that help every student thrive.

Registration is approaching, and when you arrive, you will see a welcoming staff ready to assist you. I would like to take a moment and introduce the administrative team. We are here to serve you, so please reach out to us with any questions throughout the year.

  • Nicholas lamp, Associate Principal
    • Mr. Lamp will continue to be in the Honor office, serving students in the H - N alphabet.
  • Bobby Dishman - Assistant Principal
    • Mr. Dishman will continue to be in the Courage office, serving students in the A - G alphabet.
  • Brodie Epler - Assistant Principal
    • Mr. Epler will continue to be in the Spirit office, serving students in the O - Z alphabet.
  • Barry Ward - Athletic Director
    • Coach Ward is our athletic director and is available to assist with athletic questions.

Cheyenne Central is home to an incredible community that comes together as One TRlBE! On behalf of our administrative team, we look forward to reconnecting with returning students and families and welcoming those who are new to Central.

Sincerely,

Karen Delbridge, PhD

Important Information for August

Registration and Schedule Pick Up

Last semester, administrators and counselors met individually with students to select courses for this school year. Staffing decisions were based on those selections, so requests to make a change to a schedule may not happen due to those decisions. Classes may not be available for any changes; therefore, only one schedule change will be permitted during the days of registration.

Once school is in session, students will go to their assigned classes the first two days of school. Then if a schedule change is needed and possible, only one change will be granted for students beginning on Wednesday. Because parents are a welcomed part of the educational process, a parent signature on the "Schedule Change Form" is required prior to changes made in course selection. This is to ensure that parents agree with the possible change.

The following is a schedule for registration on August 12th and 13th. Students need to register during the time designated for their grade level. If you cannot attend during that time, a makeup session is offered.

Wednesday, August 12

7:00 - 9:45       SENIORS register

10:00 - 12:45  JUNIORS register

1:00 - 4:00       SOPHOMORES register

Thursday, August 13

7:00 -10:00      FRESHMEN register

10:00 -12:00   Makeup registration for all students

1:00 - 4:00   Makeup registration for all students

Parents who drive students must drop of and pick up in the front of the school only.
